Looking for cute a Christmas activity for preschoolers and toddlers? Try out these fun Christmas tracing worksheets!
My three-year-old is obsessed with tracing right now so I made these sheets for her (because otherwise she was having me “write things with dots” alllll day long).
Both my kids are also very into letters right now so many of these tracing pages include letter practice with a festive Christmas-theme.
The Christmas trace pages are totally free to download and print. You’ll find a link to a Google drive file after each image where you can download them as PDFs.
Happy tracing!
How to download the printables
Downloading the printables is super easy! For each sheet, I include a link to a Google drive file. The sheets are saved as individual PDFs, so you can download just the files you want.
Simply click the link, it’ll pop up a new tab with the PDF file that looks like the image below:
You can click on the icons on the top right corner to either print the sheet immediately or download it for later.
Merry Christmas tree
This tracing sheet has a Christmas tree for tracing with garland. It also have practice for doing stars where you do the full lines to make the share. The practice letters to trace spell MERRY.
Dino Santa
This Christmas tracing worksheet is perfect for the dinosaur lovers in your life (so really… all preschoolers). First you can trace the outline of the dino and then practice the letters spelling “DINO CLAUS.”
Snowman tracing lines
Here’s a cute worksheet to practice tracing lines – help the snowmen get their hats and carrot noses!
In contrast to a lot of tracing line activities, this one focuses on vertical lines instead of horizontal lines.
Santa
Obviously, you have to have a classic Santa in the mix. First, trace the outline of Santa’s head, including more detailed tracing for his facial features. Then, practice writing Santa’s name.
Snow much fun!
I love this one because it’s cute and also a little more advanced in terms of smaller detail tracing. It also has more letter practice, because both my kids are obsessed with practicing letters right now.
The letters spell SNOW MUCH FUN and the pictures are of a snowman and a cozy mug of hot cocoa.
Ornament counting
This worksheet combines both tracing and counting. The ornaments including details for longer tracing time.
After kids trace the ornaments, they can count them and then practice the letters for the numbers of ornaments in each row.
